Walk for Arthur

Story

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS colleagues are participating in a fundraising walk from Whitehaven to St Bees on Saturday 20th May 2023. The walk will start from Haig Pit in Whitehaven (free parking) about 10.00am and across the coast to the Lighthouse and onto St Bees and finish at the Queens in St Bees main Street. The walk can be a bit tricky in places so comfortable sturdy footwear will be needed as the paths in some areas are narrow. We will be walking alongside some of the farmers’ fields so there could be livestock about so anyone taking a dog would need to keep on a lead in these areas. We anticipate it will take around 2.5 hours and will be getting the train back to Whitehaven afterward.
